She makes jewelry engraved by hand with special stonemasons called burins on zeolite stone, mineral of volcanic . Her multifaceted creativity also involves her in artistic jewel, such as small sculpture to wear engraved on the stones of zeolite, a volcanic mineral that is formed through the fusion between lava and the sea, inserting semi - precious stones in the context ,one of a kind creating a new and interesting collection the Zeojewel.
Cristina uses unconventional materials and techniques to create her pieces. Hers Competence is the result of an experience gained in 27 years between engraving and sculpture and highlights an unmistakable style between ancient and modern in continuous stylistics evolution.
As a teenager he attend the workshop of the coral working of his aunt Melina Giordano Orsini in Torre del Greco, a city known worldwide for the artistic processing of coral and cameos, an ancient glyptic technique. Her predisposition and passion soon lead her to the enrollment and conclusion of the school of engraving on semi-precious stones, coral, turquoise and shell continuing her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples whit the master Augusto Perez known artist of international renown, engrave the first period in an academic style.
After finishing his studies, he attended and collaborated assiduously with masters of some renowned workshops of the art of engraving on cameos, coral, turquoise and mother-of pearl, acquiring the various ancient techniques.
Later he opened Atelier KrisArt in Ercolano ( Italy) in multidisciplines of art, sculpture, engraving and mosaic, highlighting in his works an ethnic style . She collaborates with several companies where she exhibits in various international fairs her engraved jewels, attracting the interest and positive criticism of Vogue Jewel for her collection of mother-of pearl and coral of ethnic style.
He collaborates with the artist Marco Cingolani, Milan, with interest on projects, bringing back on cameos some parts of his paintings exhibited in an the monumental complex of San Giovanni in Monte , Bologna, included in the book "Divina Memesis".
An interesting experience involves the artist in a synergy and collaboration with Isabella Astengo director and artist , USA realize together a new collection the Seacret , unique wearable sculptures. Gaining positive reviews on major international newspapers, such as Vogue Jewel.
